ESAVS Training Courses
Complimentary comments

The European School for Advanced Veterinary Studies (ESAVS) has been very successful in organizing postgraduate training programmes for veterinarians. At the end of this year some 1600 veterinarians from 35 different countries will have attended 90 ESAVS courses in 13 European locations. 99 course masters and lecturers from 14 different countries were in charge of teaching. They are highly praised for their outstanding contribution. 19 new courses are planned for next year. Some comments of the participants:

Emergency Care, Madrid (March 2002)
“My general impression is this was one of the most interesting and stimulating courses I have been. The people giving lectures were stimulating and nice, the organisation was good and the group was exceptional. My general impression is that the ESAVS should maintain this high level courses that I certainly will attend”.

“Only two words: very good”!

Dermatology I, Vienna (July/August 2002)
“The lab sessions has been the most interesting part for me. We had very good help from our teachers and I have learned some new things. A very well prepared course – excellent cooperation between the teachers/speakers”.
“The university provides excellent labs and rooms for studying. All the lectures do an excellent job in teaching”.

Cardiology I, Luxembourg (September 2001)
“Splendid course to raise the knowledge about cardiology. Especially ECG analysis, x-ray (same as ECG), very good presentation in a funny way makes cardiology more fun than teaching school. Great expectations before I came here, but after 5 days I am really!!! Glad to be here among these people, also my skill in cardiology raised a lot after!! Thank you guys.
Here are some impressions: Chris Amberger – splendid at presentations (cardiomyopathy), also great coughing lecture. Chris Lombard – superb analysis of cases!!
Gerard Le Bobinnec – ECG (no words to say the great impression about that – superb analysis, really simple, and the CSC manoeuvre. After this lecture it is really useful, I never found so many OLD NEW info about cardiology!!). General is also very good at jokes!!! We want more”.
“It was a wonderful and stimulating course. The level of the teachers is fantastic. They are always nice and always ready to help us. ECG lessons were absolutely fantastic. I suggest to do echo in the second year of a basic course. Anyway, it was a fantastic experience and the teachers were fantastic. I hope to be here next year. Thank you very much for everything”.
“What I surely gained in this course is a maximal increase of ERCP (enthusiasm resolving cardiac problems). Thanks for that”!
