You started the therapy with hihg doses of prednisolone, and the lesions are much better after 1 week (picture 2), the general health already improved after the first corticosteroid application. Unfortunately, this cat does not tolerate the prednisolone well (which is uncommon in cats) and shows PD/PU and urinary incontinence. The owner is happy about your succesful therapy but not about feline urine in the whole flat. Because she suffers from rheumatoid arthritis and is treated with azathioprine you consider to combine prednisolone with azathioprine (like in canine PF) and safe prednisolone.
Do you recommend this combination to treat feline PF?
